GSCA 2026 Kickoff Event & Memorial Tribute for Bob Shelton
Join us for the opening night of the GSCA 2026 Annual Convention on Monday, September 14, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. We will be gathering at Mile Marker 158 Dockside, conveniently located right outside our host hotel, the SpringHill Suites Orange Beach at The Wharf.
Upon arrival at the venue, please check in at the front welcome table to collect your registration packet, name badge, and drink tickets.
This opening gathering is a wonderful opportunity to settle in, catch up with fellow attendees, and kick off our event just steps away from your room. Most importantly, we will dedicate this special evening to the memory and legacy of our long-term board member, National Delegate, and dear friend, Robert "Bob" Shelton. We look forward to honoring his incredible impact on our association together.

For years, Bob was the welcoming smile, the guiding voice, and the steady anchor of our Board of Directors and the Council of Delegates for ACA International. His leadership at Advanced Recovery Systems and his selfless service to the Gulf States Collectors Association left an undeniable mark on our industry.
When Bob wasn’t fiercely advocating for the ARM industry, he lived life to the absolute fullest. Whether he was on the golf course, sitting by the pool, relaxing at the beach, or cheering on his beloved Georgia Bull Dogs, his heart was always as big as his legendary smile.
More than anything, Bob was a man of radical generosity—always ready to help anyone in need without a moment's hesitation.
We honor his legacy of leadership, kindness and light.
